Product works well and is calibrated accurately. (I compared it to a hospital grade unit) If there anything I would change it would be an option to allow the readout to invert so it could be read more easily by the wearer. It is just like the picture so when it's on you finger the numbers are right-side up for someone looking at your finger not you. The display is easy to read and much crisper than my previous finger unit which used red LED display.

This little oximeter seems to work just as well as the larger more expensive models used at my pulmonary rehab facility.

My husband was hospitalized with pneumonia and very low blood oxygen levels. After his release I purchased the Oximeter to aid in his recovery. (There were none available locally that I could afford.) Knowing his blood oxygen levels has allowed my husband to lower medications earlier and has speeded his recovery. The Oximeter is easy to use and very accurate. One note: The meter tests more accurately if your hand is supported - laying flat on a surface - and relaxed. Thanks Amazon for having so many products available for quick purchase and great prices!

The Nonin MedAir OxyCheck Fingertip Pulse Oximeter appears to be marketed towards private pilots flying on oxygen who want to check their own blood oxygen, but it works fine for general medical purposes. It seems to be reliable, repeatable, efficient and durable. Pulse oximeters are commonly used in the medical profession to check on lung functioning. If you have any kind of suspected chest or lung injury, pneumonia, etc., spO2 is one of the first things they check. It's commonly checked along with pulse, blood pressure, temperature in hospitals. An indispensible tool that's really a modern marvel.
