This is a quick way to check O2 level on anyone. I needed it for my little brother who was on O2 24/7 and we wanted to lower levels of O2 rate and eventually remove machine during daytime hours. It was a Godsend. It works great and we use it all the time.

I use this in critical care all the time, its accurate and reliable, I have used the nonin brand for 10 plus years. When I started using them nurses and docs always questioned its accuracy now they all want one for its performance. I am a respiratory therapist and its always in my pocket.

Sadly, the Lord decided it was my fathers the period of time that he used this "PulseOx", but, it was a huge help to my husband and I as caretakers to feel confident that my father or use could assess him instantly from any area of the house. After 5.5 years of use, this items NEVER EVER failed us or needed calibrated. We just kept an extra supply of batteries(Walgreens, CVS). Even that was only maybe once every 6 months or so.
