Rating : Great Oral Irrigator - V. Christy, May 18, 2008
I purchased this to help me clean the teeth of my mentally challenged brother. It works great. I attach it to my kitchen faucet instead of in the bathroom. For me I can use it on a bathroom faucet but to use it on my brother it is easier to work over the kitchen sink faucet. It is up higher and I can see better what I am doing cleaning my brother's teeth. I think it is too expensive for what little you are buying but I think it is worth it now that I see how nicely it works. I'm kind of slow about some things. At first I thought I had to regulate how much water was coming out of the faucet first before I turned the lever all the way on to use. Daah! It isn't my fault I didn't understand how it worked for a while till a light went on in my head and the vendor or manufacturer didn't explain how to best regulate water pressure. I can adjust the water to the temperature I want and it can be coming out very fast of the faucet. Then I slowly turn on the little lever to route some of the water into the irrigator jet part. I test the water pressure strength on my arm till the pressure feels just right. Fair warning to all new users. Never have too much pressure as it will cut your gums. This is true with all water Irrigators. I like this one better then the electric ones I have had. I gave them away because they were horribly noisy, and I couldn't regulate the pressure like I can on this one. They all ran out of water before I was done but with this device you never run out of water. With this one it is so easy to regulate the temperature and pressure. It is really nice! This is well worth the money and it is excellent for me to use for my teeth or to use on a mentally challenged person to clean their teeth. We still brush our teeth afterwards, but this really gets the food out between the teeth and the mouth feels so refreshed after using it. It is so much safer and better then using a pick to get food out.

We bought an Oral Breeze (the one that attaches to the faucet) in March. I would regularly floss, but not every day. When I started using the Oral Breeze, it seemed to really clean between my teeth and eliminated bad breath. I stopped flossing altogether. I went (a little nervously) to my regular hygiene appointment the end of April, and the dentist and the hygienest both said that my teeth and gums look great. They thought the Oral Breeze was doing a terrific job. Now, I just floss if I'm away from home. I love it!

I got this item shipped to India. A little hitch in shipping.
This product doesnt go easily with the taps here. You will have to buy a tap that fits this. But at the end it is worth it.
Usually I use it at night. Teeth are now cleaner, but by morning I still feel little unclean.
The green one is narrow tipped and i like it.
I am satisfied.
Rating : several years of using this product.... - Kevin J. Pinkerton, Jan 16, 2008
I have now been using a version of this product for several years now. I am addicted to the the feeling I get from clean teeth after using it. I started out with the quick-removal version, but after about a year the rubber washer that locks it in place began to get soft and it became harder to remove the unit from the sink after using. I switched to this non-removable version.
Pros and Observations:
1) no electricity.
2) nothing on the counter top, although the hose has to be wound around the faucet for storage. Or at least that is what we do.
3) temperature and pressure is very easily controlled by you.
4) the removable pic will probably never wear out, unless you smash it or crush it accidentally.
5) The hose has discolored a bit from the iron content in my water, but it is no less pliable or usable then when I first got it.
Cons:
1) you must periodically tighten down the small locking nut that holds the hose on the side of the unit. This will unscrew over time due to pivoting and maneuvering the hose. It is a simple check and you only need to keep it finger tight.
2) if you have a low faucet, this will make it lower and it extends down further then the piece you will remove. If you like to reach down under the spigot and get a hand full of water to rinse your mouth out, you may have to bend down a bit lower then normal.
I remove the whole unit from the faucet every week when I clean the bathroom and I use bathroom foam cleaner and an old tooth brush to clean it and keep it like new. I remove it using my fingers, no tools.
I like this product line so much that I have the removable version at my office and I use it in after lunch every day. I installed the permanent piece on a faucet in the bathroom and left it there. I keep the removable piece in my desk drawer.
I also have a removable version I take on travel with me when I have to go somewhere for work or pleasure. Sometimes I cannot get the piece off of the hotel faucet to install the water pick on, but that seldom happens. I am persistent. The wet bar long neck sinks in hotel rooms usually will accept this unit very easily. Sometimes if I know I am going to have to stay for a week or more, I will even bring a pair of pliers to remove really crusted on sink spigots. But be aware that they may be confiscated at airport security. Once they asked me about them, but they let them thru.
As far as not fitting your sink comments... The unit comes with an adapter that has at least three size threads, some are internal and some external. The only sinks that might have problems are ones with very large diameter threaded spigots. And if you are somewhat handy you can probably go to your local Lowes or Home Depot and find an adapter to make it work.
My wife and I both use this product every day.
I use it after every meal and before I go to bed. I think it is very important to do before retiring for the night.

Fantastic product. Very powerful, and easy to vary strength. No batteries, easy to install. Still works fine after three months, seems like it will last for a long time. Much better than basic Water Pik product which has poor battery and easy to break. Much better than expensive irrigators because it is very simple and takes up zero room. Also a lot cheaper.
