Rating : Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor - T. Bridges, Jan 19, 2008
I bought this for my Elderly Parents because it is so EASY to use. They love it.I am in Healthcare and found this to be the most accurate B/P monitor. After buying this one,I bought another one for my husband who has High Blood Pressure.I would buy and highly recommend this product for anyone.
Rating : Dangerously Inaccurate - KatieJD, Jan 15, 2008
My blood pressure tends to run a little high so my doctor recommended I monitor it over the course of a month. So I bought this blood pressure meter thinking it would be a convenient and hassle-free way to monitor my blood pressure at home without having to go out to the gym or other place where they had a BP machine. Boy was I wrong. I can't get an accurate reading off this monitor, and yes I've read the instruction manual. Just tonight it showed me as being 195/120 which is in the "stroke danger zone" and I freaked out. An hour later, I'm 131/68 which seems to be closer to my typical range. I get wild variations in the readings even as much as 20-30 points within just a few minutes. I just don't know which to trust. I've decided I'm taking it back and trying another model. I'm very unimpressed.
Rating : Easy to use with accurate readings - Dogs&Horses, Oct 20, 2007
Fast and easy to use with accurate readings that compare time and again with the old fashioned cuff readings down by our RN.
Rating : Low Tech, bad product. - RAPZ, Sep 05, 2007
The monitor was a gitf to my mother in law, what a shame!: the monitor comes whit the metal contact of the batteries missing. Once the repair is done, it shows different readings of the pressure level even if you follow the instructions and you take four readings one after another, the four readings are different... I will try another brand next time.
Rating : handy and works well most of the time - G. Koch, May 13, 2007
You have to position the unit correctly to get an accurate reading, this takes a little bit of practice. The unit is easy to use and small enough to take with me almost everywhere I go. Handy for checking my BP when I think I may be stessing out.
