Great product - a few helpful hints - EmMarie, Aug 27, 2007

I love this product for what it does - give me a nice tan without having to go out of my way to drive to the salon and spending $20+ for every visit. It takes a bit of practice to make sure you don't get streaking (at least for me). A few suggestions that I found works for me:
1. Completely unfold the towel and then fold it once in half (which is different from what the package says) this helps prevent streaks since you cover more surface area and have more control since it is about the size of your hand.
2. Start where you want to be darkest - I always start with the legs
3. Once you're finished and the towel is less moist, go over your legs again with the towel completely unfolded to ensure the tan is even - and reduces streaks!
4. Take a wet towel and clean up around your ankles, this will help the tan fade into your natural skin tone without having an evident stop.
5. I like to wear flip flops (such as Havaianas) while using the towel since they provide a stop for the top of your feet - tan toes look a bit odd...
6. Do wash your hands afterwards and also your wrists below your palm for the natural fade
