The Air King 18-inch 3,190 CFM 3-speed pivoting floor fan is ideal for cooling offices, stores, garages, warehouses and other large interior spaces. Powerful enough to keep even the far reaches of the room nice and cool, this fan stands above the rest. Additionally, it pivots back and forth at three different speeds for optimal temperature control and comfort. The airflow measures 3190 CFM on high, 2970 CFM on medium and 2660 CFM on low. The 1/6 HP motor features maintenance-free permanent lubrication and a permanent split capacitor. It is controlled by a rear-mounted, rotary control switch that is easy to access and responsive to touch. The blade, guard, and mounts are finished with powder-coated steel for long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance. Included with this product is a 9-foot, 3-conductor, SJT-type power cord, built to reach across the room so you'll never come up just short of the doorway. For safety's sake this fan complies with all UL and OSHA regulations. It has 18-inch blades and measures 22-by-9.6875-by-22-inches (LxWxH) and weighs 21.4 pounds.

This fan seemed relatively quiet to me, but didn't move nearly enough air. I was searching for a replacement for my Honeywell Commercial Fan, which moved tons of air, and apparently is no longer available.

I will say that the fan is nice-looking and would probably be fine in any room, save for the bedroom if you're a light sleeper.

I have used Patton Fans for years and they had gotten to where they barely lasted a year before breaking down. The Air King is heads above the Patton Fans !! Great Quailty

I bought it. Very good fan, sturdy, good finish and coating, rather slim (for an air circulator) and well designed, but,(and unfortunately there is a but...) very noisy, it roars like a P38 fighter from WWII, it also displaces a huge amount of air like the P38, but way too noisy. I don't regret the fact that I bought it, but it is going to end in my workshop and let's see who makes more noise, this fan or my unisaw. Hey, who knows? maybe the fan wins!!! It just a joke. Again, good but too noisy.

I had previously owned a Patton floor fan of this size 10 years or so ago, but it disappeared when loaned to a neighbor.It was a fantastic appliance. Having noticed that Patton had been sold to Holmes group, I read the ratings of the new model Patton fans and was not surprised that they no longer had 5 star ratings.
The Air King fan lived up to its 5 star rating in my opinion; quiet , powerful and solid as a rock. It will really moves some air. I have already ordered the 14" companion model for upstairs.

Even on the lowest setting it is very strong. Kind of noisy as expected. However, it's a high quality, commercial grade fan. Looks good too!
