This item was purchased as a gift for our Newspaper Carrier who gets up and goes every morning very early. No more time wasted in large pots being transferred to a travel mug. She just loves it.

I bought this for my Grandmother, who lives in an Assisted Living community that apparently has really poor coffee. It is simple for her to use and makes the equivalent of a couple cups of coffee. She can make her usual rounds socializing with her buddies and take the cup along. It is easy to clean up in her small kitchenette sink and doesn't take up much space. So, consider this as a gift to someone who maybe doesn't need a travel mug so much as just a nice, easy way to get their morning coffee without a lot of trouble.

The worst item I have EVER purchased - - Medea, Apr 29, 2008
makes a mess every time - also, I have to immediately put the coffee into the microwave every time to reheat since it doesn't make HOT coffee - lukewarm at best, and undrinkable - (I clicked ONE star only because there is no way to make this a ZERO star item!)
