Good, simple can opener for the price - Christine, Apr 07, 2008

I appreciate that this can opener was made in Italy, and not the typical made in China like everthing else on the market. The opener is lightweight and does the job. It performs well but I personally would prefer a heavier and more substantial feel in a manual can opener. However, it does perform better than the OXO I bought at three times the price, which started failing on me a month after I bought it. This can opener is a good price and would make an excellent backup or something to leave at work.

Will not work right, hangs up on one of the teeth since the tooth is bent. Cheaply made. I am not sending it back to Amazon since it is not worth my time and trouble.

i was looking for the cheapest can opener i could find on amazon and decided to buy the Pedrini black & satin classic can opener after readin a couple of reviews about it.I think its the best can opener that I have ever used...so easy to use. Definitely worth the money your paying for it.

This can opener is a "classic" and will not fail you when there is a
power failure or dead battery. A must in every household.
