I have a nearly identical dryer in a different color and it's a charm. The auto-dry feature has clothes 100% dry in about 40 minutes, which is due primarily to the high spin speed of the matching washer.

The electronic controls take a little getting used to, as they have a real light touch, which is a different experience for those of us who grew up using pliers to get the Lady Kenmore going.

It's got a super-dooper capacity and you can load grandma's quilt in there without any problems. The controls are user-friendly and big enough that they're easy to read without tilting back your head to use the old bifocals. The lint filter is on the front (right inside the door), so there'll be no excuses for not cleaning it out with every load. For reasons I don't understand, I don't find as much lint in this filter as I've found in older-style dryers. I'm not sure what that's about.

Our units are stacked, so the dryer is at eye-height, but if you're using them side-by-side, you might want to get the pedestal. These things are down pretty low when they're sitting right on the ground.

It takes the four-prong dryer cord (as most units do these days) and if you *are* going to stack it, you'll probably need to have a specially-long cord fabricated (as we did). The cord attaches in a way that it exits on the bottom left side so if you're trying to plug in on the right side, you're out of luck.

The best feature is the glass door. It's mighty entertaining to sit there and watch the clothes go 'round.

When the dryer is done, there's a chime and a little electronic song. Very cute. I really like having appliances that sing to me.
