Diamond wedding bands consist of a diamond stones set in precious metal ring, worn to symbolize marriage and a commitment to fidelity. It comes in a set of two bands, worn by husband and wife, ideally throughout their marriage. This is usually worn on the base of the left finger. In some cultures however, it is worn on the right finger, i.e. in Germany, Russia, Poland, Norway, and Bulgaria. Diamond wedding bands are a more elegant alternative to the traditional yellow gold bands associated with wedding rings. It adds sparkle and pizazz to liven up an everyday-worn jewelry. The diamond stone is usually set to be flush with the surface so that the exterior is smooth and the stone is secured.
