Rating : It's Lasted and we love it!! - AL, Oct 16, 2009
This makes the best home made pizza ever. My aunt bought it for us because we loved hers so much. Love that it cooks the top and bottom at once. This pizza is the only pizza my children eat all the parts of the pizza at once. (Those of you who have young children know what I am talking about)We are in NY and have some of the best pizza in the US but we often prefer to make our own since getting this awesome appliance. We have had it for a year, no defects, no problems, just great pizza. My husband actually brought it to work and made pizza for his co workers one day and they loved it. The only thing we have to agree about is be careful when opening the lid (definitely use a mitt) the steam does come at you when you open the lid after cooking. I am writing this review in light of the fact that we are buying this for a co worker who is getting married. Try it, you'll love it!!

This Deni pizza oven is very convenient for cooking frozen pizzas. I use it at least three times a month and am very happy with the oven.
Rating : Liked it so much, I bought two. - Santiago Enriquez, Aug 17, 2009
I got one of these ovens for my mother, who likes to make homemade pizza. She raved about how much better the pizzas turned out in the Deni pizza oven than the ones she had made for years in her kitchen oven. She was so enthused that I asked her to make a pizza for me and let me see what she was talking about. The pizza was excellent. It used to take her almost 40 minutes to bake a pizza and by the time the center was done, the edges were already beginning to burn. Also, the Deni pizza oven does not heat up her house in the summer. It also stores easily and it easy to clean up.
I went out and bought one and have started making my own pizzas, as well as naan and other flatbreads that I serve hot with meals when I have guests. It does a beautiful job with these also. My brother, who does not cook, loves the way frozen pizzas come out of the Deni pizza oven.
The only caution that I would include is to exercise caution when lifting the lid as steam escapes and one, if not careful, could get burned. It might be good if it made a 12 inch pizza rather than an 11 as the standard frozen pizza seems to be 12 inches. The frozen fits, but it is a tight fit.
It is an amazing invention and well worth the price. I recommend it to any and all. It is an excellent addition to my kitchen equipment.
Rating : enjoy it because it won't last - J. Krusoe, Apr 20, 2009
I actually had two of these. The first lasted about a year, and I liked it so well that when it broke I bought another. The second made it three months. It's a great oven when it works.
Rating : Burns everything - ROBERT, Feb 21, 2009
I had the older model with a ceramic disc and it was great. Lasted 8 years.
This Deni has severe flaws. There is NO temperature control. You can put on the upper, lower, or both heat elements, BUT U can not set the heat level! It is only ON or OFF: no LOW-Med-High controls like the older models. Also, the revolving tray gets hung up way too often. The inside height is so low that even a small bun will often catch on the upper element and instantly be scorched.
