This carnival style kettle popcorn cart makes hot, fresh, delicious popcorn just like the movie theaters. It features a large stainless steel kettle with a built in stirring system and pops up to 1 gallon of popcorn per batch. Includes a measuring spoon for oil and measuring cup for popcorn kernels, so every batch pops perfectly. With the old-fashioned tabletop size cart, popcorn has never tasted so good at home. Rating : Not worth it - Susan Myrick, Oct 21, 2009
We bought one and it lasted just over 3 months. The part where you add the popcorn didn't warm up enough to pop the popcorn. We were given one as a gift. It did the same thing. We didn't over use it. Only a couple of times a week. When I emailed the company, they never responded. Don't buy this product. It only has a short warranty.
Rating : Great Popcorn Maker - April Mendoza, Oct 19, 2009
My son has been begging for this for 2 years. I finally got it for him for his 6th birthday. It was a pain to put together, but made really wonderful popcorn. It made a lot more than I expected. Just the right amount for my twins. I haven't had any problem with uncooked kernals flying out. It has turned out to be everything my son hoped it would be, and that is all that matters.
Rating : Kinda Neat - PAIN to clean - Michael J. Voorhees, Sep 28, 2009
Its a kinda neat little toy really. My problem with it is that when it starts popping it blows a lot of the unpopped kernels out. I reduced this issue by using a little less popcorn in it. Another thing I noticed is it seems the steam makes the popcorn a little less crisp then you would get with an air popper.
Cleanup is a bit annoying but not much you can do about that. You have to scoop all the old popcorn out of the bottom and because there is no tray to remove to make cleaning easier. Cleanup can be a bit of a task after you finish your snack.
That being said, we still like using it and enjoy the popcorn. I recommend using lots of butter and flavoring. If you're looking for low fat popcorn I would go with an air popper because that popcorn will be crisper and tastier without butter.
Rating : Great Popper - Bajajim, Sep 14, 2009
Having grown up working in a full size Popcorn Wagon I am totally surprised at how functional and realistic this little popper is -- only problem seems to be getting out all the popped corn without burning my hand on the bucket....
Rating : Too small, too messy, too many kernels unpopped - Lucy Torres, Aug 20, 2009
Too small, there's hardly any room for your hands to work around it when making popcorn. It makes a big mess and is difficult to clean. It leaves lots of kernels unpopped because they fly all over along with squirts of oil making a big mess. NOT worth the price for such small item. Not worth the mess for the amount of popcorn it makes.
Great popcorn though.
