I watched the infomercial and was intrigued. The product looked great and they were offering all kinds of free items... In order to get the "free" items, all I had to do was simply pay for the shipping and handling. I went to their web site, but I couldn't find any info on the "shipping and handling". I had to enter my credit card info and mailing address to get the "shipping and handling details. I quickly noticed a trend. The "shipping and handling" ended up being about twice what the "free" items were worth. I decided that I didn't want anything to do with this product afterall, and started looking for a cancel button. There wasn't one. I clicked back and it didn't work. With no other option, I had to close the browser to get away from this site.

The next day, I checked my email and was informed that I was the owner of a Nu-Wave oven and that it had just left the warehouse. I couldn't believe it. I hadn't finished the order. I hadn't clicked on a "confirm order" button. I have placed many online orders, and have never been screwed like this before. I called the company and explained that I had not completed the order. They said that I had, but if I didn't want the package, all I had to do was refuse it and they would refund my credit card.

Fine. That's what I did. And they refunded all but $30.00. I called and asked why, and they told me that I had requested next day delivery and that would not be refundable. I had requested no such thing. Watch out for this company. They aren't reputable!

I would truly go on TV and completely endorse this product. My father and I both bought the nu wave oven and must say we were skeptical and the reason we decided to try it was the money back guarantee. Well let me tell you everyone in my family's getting one of these for Christmas it is truly one of the best purchases I've made. My father calls me at least twice a week raving about how amazing something came out in this oven. I couldn't be happier it's quick and easy to use. I live alone and recently lost a lot of weight from Jenny Craig and got into the habit of hating cooking. Coming off Jenny Craig I needed to find something that would continue to make my life easy and keep me healthy. I work full time and go to the gym a lot, all around I'm pretty busy. I'm the kind of person who can't always plan my meals ahead and winds up throwing food out that I bought because it's past the dates. I HATED FROZEN MEATS!!!! Not anymore this oven makes it possible to take meat right out of the freezer and not even thaw for a minute and it makes the food JUICY on the inside and CRISPY on the outside, doesn't burn things. Fresh or Frozen life is easy and great with the nu wave! I TRULY LOVE THIS THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mom saw this on those infomercials, and she fell for it (like always). It arrived about two weeks ago, and the first few days I did not even want to try it because I KNEW that it would just turn out to be a piece of junk; however, I was very wrong! I LOVE this thing!! It is everything the guy on T.V. said it would be.

So far, I have made meat loafs, beef jerky, spinach-stuffed mushrooms, clams, potatoes, and a whole 6-lb chicken with this (I'm eating the chicken as I'm reviewing this). My chicken is very juicy--not something I could accomplish when using a normal oven. The skin of my chicken is crispy too--perfect! I keep searching for recipes now because I want to use the oven; I hate cooking, but this oven has changed what I feel about cooking.

What is great about this oven is that it comes with three recipe books--one in pictures in color and the other two without pictures. Most of their recipes are easy to make and some are quick to cook too. Cooking time is very quick too, and you can actually see what is going on with your food while it is cooking! On hot summer days, the NuWave Oven will not make your house warmer like how a normal oven does when you open the door. There is no smoke at all that is emitted from the oven or food, however, when you take the cover out there is steam.

This unit is very easy to clean, so do not worry about a mess or a dirty appliance. The only thing you have to clean most about this oven is the metal rack--the rest is easy.

I would recommend this to everyone! Even people who do not usually cook or hates cooking like me. I think this oven has improved the taste of food (well, more like just the food that I make). Even my mom likes my cooking now =] Finally, my mom bought something that is actually useful.
