Choosing Drum Sets (Buying Tips)

Color customization: Choose a starter drum in your child's favorite color. Most drum set manufacturers allow you to set its overall color. You can usually choose from silver, red, black, and blue.

Starter set: If you are a beginner or just trying out playing the drums for a time, choose a cheap starter drum set over an expensive one. It can save you money especially if you do not know if you are going to stick with it.

Headphones: Choose an electronic drum set with a headphone output that allows you to practice without disturbing other people. Privacy is one of the advantages of using an electric drum.

Cymbals:
So you do not have to buy them separately, look for a drum set that already comes with three or four cymbals.
