| Power amplifiers provide the final stage of amplification in a speaker system. They work by picking up signals from preamplifiers or other preliminary stage amplifier, and delivering high levels of electrical power to the signal. This increases their volume and makes them audible over long distances. Power amplifiers have the highest efficiency in amp transmission systems, usually rated from Class B upwards. |
