I bought this amp to go with the Nady Center Stage Microphone given to my daughter for her birthday - it is a perfect companion!

Rating : Small box, Big sound... - Phillip Cordero, May 23, 2009
This is an awesome amp! It took 2 weeks for the amp to arrive. It is worth the wait. For a small amp, it packs some loud noise, especially with distortion!!! ROCK ON my friends!!! ^_^
Rating : First AMP for first guitar - Suzann @ Work Smarter Now, Apr 29, 2009
This was an excellent first amp for our son's first guitar. Just the right size and the right sound.

Hopefully, it was just a fluke, but my amp didn't work. I liked the size for playing in my small apartment. Oh well! Back to the drawing board.
Rating : Good product, good price, but don't expect too much - Lindsay Oden, Mar 16, 2009
I bought this amp as my first amp and I'm generally really pleased with it. It's a Starcaster Amp and it goes great with my Starcaster Guitar. It can pump out great tunes at a reasonably loud volume. The controls are easy to see, it's easy to transport, and it's a good price. But it does come up short in some aspects.
Don't expect this to be your primary amp. It's good for jamming, but I just keep it in my house. Also, the seller lists the headphone jack as one of the benefits, for silent practice, but don't try to plug in your regular headphones. The jack needs some kind of adapter, which isn't mentioned in the product description. You'll have to buy one for silent practice; until then, everyone around you has to put up with the noise. Lastly, the effects you can make are minimal. While there are knobs for treble and bass, the effects produced leave something to be desired.
Overall, good product, emphasis on good. Not great.
