Agralawn Crabgrass Killer works best when applied to wet grass/weed. You can wet the affected area with a hose, irrigation, spray bottle or apply immediately AFTER rain. Apply only to the affected area being careful to dust the entire target weed this product is known to control. This product will turn from a white to a bright yellow to indicate adequate moisture when applied. If the product does not turn yellow it was not activated. A light to medium coating applied in even strokes will work best. Noticeable results in 2 to 4 days. Do not apply if rain is forecasted for several days in a row or prior to watering the lawn to avoid washing away product. Reapply as needed. Average Rating of 4.00 out of 2 reviews

This stuff is great at killing crabgrass. It does yellow some of the surrounding lawn, but my lawn bounced right back while the crabgrass withered away. The only downfall is that the shaker bottle is hard to use effectively over large areas. If you have a confined patch of crabrass, then its easy to apply this stuff directly and kill it. But If you have bits of crabgrass here and there over your entire lawn, you effectively have to sprinkle your entire lawn with this stuff, and one bottle really doesn't go very far. But still, despite that drawback, its the only post-emergent killer I've found that actually works, so I use it, even on the large areas.

This product was used as directed, but only slightly killed the grass. It yellowed the St. Augustine and the crab grass. The crab grass will be coming back as it was only hurt and not killed. For the amount of money and the small area of use I would not recommend this product.
