Lamp arrived with an inoperable switch. It can only be turned on and off by using a switchable extension cord. Upon reviewing the steps required to return the item, such as getting a preauthorize return form and the shipping cost of returning the lamp plus a restocking fee it wasn't worth the effort. I'll just be careful to insure I do not order any additional items from this manufacturer.

I have owned this light for well over 10 years and have never once given me any problems. I recently had to replaced the bulb which can be found at your local Loews. Highly recommend, I would definitely buy it again if this light ever breaks.

It is a nice lamp for the price. It illuminates the desk area well and it has a very sturdy construction.

looks nice, currently works well

it's not as bright as I thought to light up my whole bedroom, but works well for reading

the brightness of light cannot be adjusted, that's the only disadvantage I find now
