Rating : Quality is poor - 48 Peaks, Jul 19, 2009
I have purchased Scott tissues for 20+ years and the product is clearly inferior to what it used to be. The paper is virtually transparent. Try another brand like I plan to do.
Rating : Great Scott - bernie, Jun 07, 2009
The two great advantages to this product is one that it is unscented and that it comes in bulk packaging. Life is smelly enough and we don't need to pollute it with the namby-pamby cutesy smelly leaf substitutes. The bulk packaging means fewer times that I have to purchase this.
As far as single ply is concerned I am a squishier are not a folder so the ply account doesn't really apply in my situation. I never have to worry about fingers falling through.
Bottom line Scott is efficient, not smelly and very affordable.
Rating : Ordering toilet paper online is best left for the severely constipated. - A. Wapcaplet, May 23, 2009
Nonetheless, I will detail my experience with this product. I like that it's called "The Common Sense Roll." Previously, I'd tried "The Impractical Fool Roll" and found that wiping my nether regions with silk was simply indulgent and expensive. As for this product, I prepared for an extensive evaluation by first eating 12 Taco Bell Bean and Cheese Burritos with a Chocolate Ex-Lax shake. One "Common Sense" 20-pack and 6 hours later, I must confess that I would've been hard pressed to tell the difference between this product and any other, or even sandpaper, so grateful was I that my colonic nightmare was over. And rather than thinking to formulate an opinion on this product, I immediately logged on to Amazon to search for butthole ointments.
Have a nice day!
Rating : 20 roll of poor quality paper - Donna Hering, Apr 17, 2009
I purchased the roll of Scotts 20 bathroom tissue, 1000 sheets, and was very disappointed to find that the quality is not the same as the smaller packages. The smaller packages of 12 and 6 have much softer paper than the roll of 20. The roll of 20 is very rough and feels like dryer sheets. It is definitely not a bargain. We are being ripped off!
Rating : Holy Scott! - C L Cox, Apr 10, 2009
We have used Scott toilet paper for 25+ years. Recently their quality control fell off the wagon. The last two 12 roll packages purchased from Wal Mart have demonstrated that quality inspectors must have fallen asleep. Each individual sheet has multiple holes or tears. If the rolls in the most recent package purchased still have this quality problem, we will switch to a better brand.
