First of all, BUY THIS ONLINE!!! It is usually sold at a very high price by most retail stores, over $50. This product is great because of the alternating night/actinic timer outlets and the daytime timer outlets. I was told that it is best for wavemaking cycles, but I much rather prefer to use it for my lights, since the tank I use it for is mostly plants and invertebrates. My one quarrel was the singular constant power outlet. It would have been nicer to have had more, but really its no big deal.
