This litter box does exactly what I wanted. The removable top section keeps the litter in the box, not scattered all around it, and our cat can't accidently pee over the sides like he did with the typical litter box.

I really like the higher guards on this litter box. My cats tend to get overly enthusiastic covering up their business. But I wish it were a little longer. My cats have very long bodies and it is a little small for them. I also don't really want a sifting litter pan, as I use litter liners. But it does keep more of the litter in the box and off the floor.
