My vet told me that my dachshund was experiencing back strain and needed some life-style changes and recommended getting some pet steps. After doing research on many different brands, these pet steps were the most attractive and tall enough for my queen sized bed.

He was unsertain about using the steps at first and was kind of unstead on them in the begining. After one afternoon of training (with lunch meat as reinforcemnt), he learned how to go up and down them with no issues.

I've had these about a month now and Stanley the weenie dog, has been back pain free ever since.

My chihuahua and pomeranian have both had trouble getting up onto my bed, so I ordered this to help them. The height was perfect and the structure was pretty stable. It even makes a dandy footrest. The only problem was... my dogs refused to use the steps! I showed them how several times, lured them up with food, and while my pom used them a few times, my chihuahua refused. I decided to return them, and Amazon made it pretty easy. On the day UPS picked the steps up, both dogs jumped on the bed... just to spite me.

So these steps are great as long as your pet will use them.

My husband injured his knee and could not lift "Ruby" on to the bed. She was very depressed, I am in a wheel chair and could not help. Now she flies up the stairs, coming and going as she pleases. Ruby is a 20 lb, minature daschond mix. One happy dog.

I bought these for my small Westie to get up on a high bed. We have another medium size dog that uses them and also our cat uses them. The back sticker says they are good for up to 70lb, don't know that I would trust that much weight on them. These steps are great for a small animals to be able to get up and down from the bed. Good value for the price, remember you are buying a set of plastic steps. As noted in an earlier review, needs non-slip and non-scratch bottom for wood floors. Works good on carpet.

I ordered this for my 16 year old cat so he would be able to get on the bed easier. The height is perfect for his needs. It is very sturdy and would probably be so for a pet larger than my 12 pound cat. The carpet on each step provides a non-slippery surface for climbing stairs. The price on Amazon was really good and the free shipping makes this a very good deal.
