I just got this dog harness in the mail today. I opened it and put it on my dog. I adjusted the harness so that it fit snuggly.The harness looks very comfortable and she didnt mind putting it on. We were outside about 3 minutes and she began chewing on the harness. I took her back inside and removed the harness. She had almost bitten the strap in half. Too much money for something that didnt last five minutes!

The small size harness is adorable and soft, but the one I received is sewn completely wrong: no handle and the buckles and ring are on the underside of the harness rather than the top. It fits my dog very poorly. Hopefully when I call customer service tomorrow they will send me one that's sewn correctly. I bought the matching leash and it is way too long for walking a small dog, but is very comfortable on my wrist (the fleece) and the set is really attractive.

I just ordered this harness for my Daschund along with the matching leash. It is sooo soft. I was hesitant at first because another reviewer complained of a smell because of the hemp. I just got mine there is absolutely no smell whatsoever. I have been trying to find a harness and have gone to every pet store in the neighborhood. Ive had to return each one either because it didnt fit or because the material was too rough for her. I took this out of the box slipped it right on and it fit perfect! I do agree with another reviewer. This must run big because all other harnesses my dog is usually a medium (she measures 21 inches around her breast)..I went by the other reviewer and ordered a small instead of a medium and im glad i did. Im am so pleased with this product

Despite the product looking and even feeling good, my average sized dog broke two of these in a week. So she is back to wearing her six month old department store generic that was 1/3 the cost. I gave two stars because Amazon and Planet Dog are both willing to exchange or refund the item. Although I don't see what good another would do after two quick failures.

Sadie loves her new harness! Now she doesn't run when we get it out because it is so comfortable on her.
