This it the best thing since sliced bread. I have three cats and the litter was everywhere. I spent so much time vacuuming. Now I just scoop it and go. The pad lasts about four days and the pebbles last a long time. The cats adjusted to it right away. I just changed it all at once, didn't have to do it gradually. Thanks Tidy Cat, you did a good job.

Rating : Question Someone!!! - topazgirl, Jun 21, 2008
Can someone tell me the size of the holes or "grating" in the strainer of this pan???? I'd like to use the pan, but with my Feline Pine. The holes have to be big enough that the wet dust can fall thru.
I want to do this only because I don't find it as "earth responsible" to buy and throw away those pads, and I also don't trust what the company is using for the logs. I'd rather use a recycled wood product, and just let the wet dust fall thru the grate, and just empty the bottom pan.
Too bad Feline Pine couldnt figure this out. I paid almost as much for their terribly ugly box. When you take out the top box with the grating on the bottom, there's no place to set it, except the floor, and there is wet dust on the bottom of the little feet of the pan. Using the new Tidy Cat box would be cool, because I would only have to pull out the bottom tray, take it to the trash and dump it, without touching the top tray at all!
PS: People, dont believe Tidy Cat's hype thats written on the Breeze box that you should have 3 boxes for 2 cats! I laughed when I saw that on the box! Wouldnt that be nice for Tidy Cats! If you have one cat, you need 1 box, unless the cat is old or disabled and needs more than one due to ambulation problems. If you have more than one cat (like I do), then first try one box. Several cats may be just fine with it. Mine are. If, and only if, one cat refuses to use another cat's box...then get 1 more. But don't believe the hype from Tidy Cats and rush out to buy 3 boxes...they only want to sell more boxes. Along those same lines, a while back, I heard that some "great and famous" marketing guru died. He was credited with increasing the earnings of shampoo companies by the MILLIONS back in the 50's or so. What did he do? He came up with the phrase: "Rinse and Repeat" to be put on the bottles of the company he worked for. Soon every shampoo maker adopted it for their bottles and its still in place today. People thought they were being advised properly by "caring and scientific" shampoo companies...when what they really were being was "shafted". Heard that on the radio when this guy died....

"My husband was complaining about the dust that came from our cats' previous litter. He has allergies. He also did not like that the litter we used to use tracked all over the place. This litter is completely opposite of the previous one. It does not track, and does not have dust. Contrary to what other reviewers said, I am not noticing the citrus scent. There is no apparent odor from the litter box before and after the cats use it. I really like this litter. However, there are a couple things that are not so great about this litter. It is challenging to scoop up feces because the pellets are tougher to get underneath. My cats took a week to adjust to this litter system, and the older litter was really gross. The directions on the box that the Breeze system came in were very different from the transition directions online. If I had used the directions online from the beginning, I believe my cats would have adjusted to the litter quicker. My husband and I had to suffer from the stench of the old litter system, while the cats had to suffer from extended confusion. Overall, we are going to keep this litter system."

I was one of the early adopters of this product and I'm extremely pleased! It works just as promised and I change out the pads once a week. My cat does always urinate in the same corner, however, and I need to "rotate" the pads orientation about two to three times a week. The smell is almost non-existent and my litter box is in a very small place.
The best part... no more litter tracking around the house! A few pellets occasionally find their way out of the box but it's very minor. I couldn't be happier with this product...
Rating : It's ok - Annamarie Hammond, Jun 16, 2008
It's not a bad product - but frankly, it's really not worth the expense.
The cats will use it for pee - but not one of the three has used it for solid waste - I put it next to a regular litter box - followed the instructions from the "breeze" package - and 1 month later - still no actiivity other than the occasional pee.
If you have a male cat who likes to pee standing straight up - the sides are not high enough to capture pee that goes over the top sides.
Decent idea - but the expense does not justify changing over from clumping litter. Won't buy it again - after my refills run out - I'm done.
