Choosing Boat Seats (Buying tips)

Cover: For durability, choose a boat seat covered in marine grade vinyl. Aside from being resistant to mildew buildup, marine grade vinyl is also UV treated to prevent its color from fading.

Stainless hardware: To prevent corrosion, choose a boat seat made with stainless hardware like polished aluminum. Marine waters are highly corrosive and can quickly damage the seat if it is not coated to be resistant to moisture and rust.
