Bocce Court : What is it?
| A bocce court is the playing area that follows the standard construction for playing bocce. Ideally, a bocce court should be located in an open and unshaded area with a natural and working drainage. According to international standards, the minimum allowable dimension for a bocce court is 18.29 meters x 3.05 meters or 60 feet x 10 feet, while the maximum recommended dimension is 28.95 meters x 4.57 meters or 95 feet x 15 feet. It can also come in local standards depending on the country, region, or area. A bocce court comes in different types, and each has a unique design and construction in terms of length, width, materials, and playing surface. It can be added with hills and bumps for a more challenging and fun game of bocce. |
