Kinds of Canoe Racks include the following:

Stationary canoe racks

Stationary canoe racks consist of horizontal supports that hold canoes facedown. They are self-supporting and usually hold six to eight canoes.

Tree canoe racks

Tree racks have a column of bars attached to vertical poles. Double tree racks are made by connecting two tree racks with crossbars. Canoes are placed facedown, supported by the bars on both ends.

Wall-mounted canoe racks

Wall-mounted canoe racks are attached to walls, making them a great choice for small spaces since they do not occupy floor space. They usually hold two to four canoes.

Choosing Canoe Racks (Buying tips)

Capacity: Make sure your canoe rack can support the weight of your canoe. Choose a rack with a stable base and firmly constructed holders. Look for one with thick, rigid bars.

Material and construction: Choose a canoe rack made of durable materials that will not rust, especially when placed outdoors or exposed to wet canoes. Also, make sure the bars are properly constructed and padded to avoid scratching your canoe.
