Deer shadow decoys are devices used for attracting deer. They are made of lightweight foam that resemble the ears, head, and neck of a deer. Using strings, the decoys are suspended from tree limbs falling just above the underbrush. They can be rubbed with deer scent, which can be easily absorbed by the foam, for attracting more deer.
Deer shadow decoys are available in doe and buck types. They are light enough to move like a natural deer but can also be weighed down to prevent them from moving about unnecessarily.
