Casing: Choose a dive light made of durable polycarbonate plastic. This material does not crack easily even when several hundred feet underwater. It is also resistant to corrosion and rust.
Accessories: Look for a dive light with a wrist strap or rubber lanyard. This allows you to hang your light on your arm to free your hands for other purposes.
Power source: If you are an occasional diver, look for a dive light that runs on disposable batteries. Invest in a powerful rechargeable dive light if you are a regular or professional diver.
