Guide to Fishing Hooks

Fishing Hook : What is it?

fishinghook1

Fishing hooks are either barbed or barbless. They are attached to a fishing line and concealed with baits. They usually come in silver, bronze, and matte colors, and can be galvanized or finished with nickel plating or bronze. Fishing hooks come in different sizes, grades, and shapes to fit the different sizes of fish mouths and baits. They can easily catch on clothes and skin, so they should be handled with extra care.
