Choosing Golf Grips (Buying Tips)

Grip weight: Choose a golf grip weighing 40 to 55 grams to get a comfortable grip that does not weigh down your club too much. Get a lightweight golf grip between 20 and 40 grams if you want to increase your swing speed, balance point, and club weight.

Design:
For easy attachment, choose a slip-on grip over an intricate wrapping grip. A wrapping grip is more expensive and may be weather-sensitive.
