The Furi Ozitech works fine after a month of use. I see no evidence of wear on the sharpening tongs. Contact me a year from now, and I'll tell you how long it lasted.

Very effective, and reasonably priced combination of form following function.
It works very well on good knives although the performance is (clearly) inferior on lower-end cutlery.

When the product arrived I was a tad skeptical that something so simple looking would be as good as advertised. What a pleasant surprise to learn that the product worked EXACTLY as advertised. If you're looking for something simple that will sharpen your everyday houseknives this is the product to get. The directions are laid out well and if you still have problems there's a website that has an instructional video to guide you further. In short: This is a great product that lives up to the hype.
