the thickness is good if you have bad knees, but the thing doesn't stay in place and makes disruptive noises when you move (or it moves). Not the best, but very comfortable on the knees if that's an issue.

I purchased this as a gift for my dad who has been practicing yoga on a towel in the basement for three years. I've heard that too much padding between you and the floor can make some moves more difficult and unstable but he says he likes it better and I'm sure it's better for his back!

This is the worst Yoga mat that I have ever owned....the worst. Anytime I do updog or downdog the mat actually begins stretching beneath me. This is just terrible. It isn't even good for doing a sit up.

I researched a lot of mats and this is the one that seemed to be the thickest, something that's really important for the knees. This product totally delivered on "thick"! I love this mat!
