The IronMan Gravity 1000 Inversion Table is built with a durable tubular steel frame with a scratch resistant powder coated finish. The table can support up to 300lbs and the user height is 6'6"". It has tough rubber non-skid floor stabilizers that provide stability when inverting. Extra long safety handles provide easy return to an upright position and vinyl covers are added for safety. The backrest consists of tough nylon that is extremely durable, yet comfortable when the table is in use. The ergonomically molded ankle holders provide comfort and security. When not in use the Gravity 1000 can folded for storage. Whether you want to reduce back stress or fatigue or stimulate your blood circulation, the Ironman Gravity 1000 inversion table makes a great household accessory. The inversion table contributes to your body's overall health by optimizing lumbar traction, thereby relieving pressure on your vertebrae discs and ligaments. And when your back starts to relax, the rest of your body follows. The table can also help with such areas as increasing body flexibility for improved athletic performance, reducing the effects of aging due to gravity, and relieving lower backaches due to sitting or standing. The Gravity 1000 boasts a durable tubular steel frame with a scratch-resistant powder-coated finish. The backrest, meanwhile, is made of a tough nylon material that's extremely durable yet still comfortable when the table is in use. Most importantly, the inversion system is a breeze to use: once you rest your body against the nylon backrest and slip your feet into the ergonomically molded ankle cushions, simply reach your arms over your head. As your arms go up, your body gradually inverts up to 90 degrees. The only inputs are your energy and gravity itself. Users will also appreciate the tough rubber non-skid floor stabilizers, which keep the table stable while you invert, and the extra-long safety handles, which provide an easy return to an upright position. Other details include a height-adjustable frame up to 6 feet 6 inches; support for up to 300 pounds; vinyl safety side covers to protect hands and fingers; and a durable spring-loaded ankle locking system. The Gravity 1000, which folds into a compact footprint for easy storage, measures 25 by 62 by 49 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 46 pounds. Rating : Very good buy! - F. Webb, Nov 18, 2009
After reading the reviews on most of the inversion tables available through Amazon, I decided on the Ironman 1000. The price is very reasonable compared to the others and it received high ratings. After 2 weeks of use I find it money well spent.
Assembly was fairly simple and is built very sturdy. If I were to change one thing on this table, it would have to be the changing of the pivot holes on the pivot arms. As it is, you need to remove a couple of bolts and lift of the table to be able to change settings. This is really not a big deal though and only takes a couple minutes to do.
After some testing of different height settings on the adjustable boom, the operation of this table was very smooth. Again after some experimenting I found it very easy to go from the fully inverted position to the start position without having to bend at the waist. Simple arm movements will allow you to do this and there is also the handle bars along the sides to use if needed. I can only speak for myself, but I found no discomfort what so ever with the adjustable ankle locks and can stay inverted for several minutes without even noticing what is holding me there. (yes, wear comfortable shoes and I snug the locks up tight)
I experienced the benefits of this inversion table right away. My posture seems to be better and my lower back feels great now. I would definitely recommend this table to my friends.
Rating : Upside down - Rich G., Nov 17, 2009
I'm really pretty happy with this table. I have never owned nor tried one before and it does take a little getting used to hanging upside down. I try to use it 3 times a day and right now I hang about 3 minutes each time. You can definitely feel your body getting stretched out. This unit has the spring loaded ankle claspers and I find that wearing hiking boots is the way to go. Assembly was easy, it is sturdy, and the price was right.
Rating : Ironman Gets 5 Stars - J. Valenzuela, Nov 16, 2009
I rate this inversion table a 5 star. It's built strong enough to make you feel safe upside down. It was easy to set up, and it took around 45 minutes. This has decompressed my back to a degree never before felt by me. I feel good about this purchase, I also bought it based on reviews.
Rating : What a Relief!!! - Gregory D. Groth, Nov 14, 2009
Inversion therapy is the BEST thing I've done for my entire spine since my operation in 2000. This table offers excellent support, is comfortable and easy to set up. While not as portable as the $400 Teeter model, I can move it around just fine, knowing I saved myself some $260. Go for it...you wont be disappointed.
Rating : Best Buy for the $$ Online or In Stores - R. Taylor, Nov 13, 2009
Took approx. 20-30 minutes to assemble and test out. Definitely worth the money. Very well constructed, easy to assemble, easy to use, and adjustments are quick/simple to change. Very satisfied upon first use. I felt relief after a few minutes of stretching out, I have never used an inversion table but my doctor recommended and I'm happy I chose this model. My biggest praise is the construction, that was my only concern being so inexpensive, but to my surprise it was better than I was expected.. Overall I'm very very happy. You will not find a better table in stores w/ price comparability. Believe me, I looked at all the sporting goods stores in my area, cheapest one I found was 179.99 and I wouldn't trust it to hold me(182lbs). Only reason I chose this was because of the previous reviews. Thank you and God Bless.
