Was considering a Schwinn Tendem bike for $699 Plus Shipping from a local dealer...I went to Amazon.com and discovered the Kent Brand Bike. And it was a great deal and a really great bike. I would say Much to my surprise, FIRST CLASS.. well Made and a really great deal. It took a bit to get the fenders on but that was it. and two day free shipping was also great. I called customer service and got info I needed to regester for warranty. Try It, you well be amazed at the cash you will save and the qaulity of the product.

Because I had a tandem bike growing up, I decided to get another one. It has been really fun riding around in the neighborhood. We have had no trouble with it at all. The seats are not real comfortable, but we can always replace them.
That would be the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating.

My husband had no trouble putting it together. And I"m sure we will use it for years to come.

First of all, to get 2-day shipping, I signed up for Amazon Prime when I ordered the bike on a Thursday. I expected the bike on Monday; it came on Wednesday, so I later cancelled my trial Amazon Prime account.
The bike arrived in good condition. The assembly instructions were pretty easy to follow. We did need an allen wrench that was not on the list of required tools. Assembly is a 2-person job, for sure.
The assembled bike was absolutely gorgeous! We got the seats adjusted just right and took off for our first ride. It was great! After about a 1/2 mile ride, however, we came to our first uphill slope. The chain immediately broke! My husband looked at the chain and decided that it was much too lightweight for such a big bicycle. He talked about repairing it or trying to get a heavier chain, but as we walked the bike home we decided that we should send it back.
I immediately got on the customer service return site and typed in my request. I was emailed a UPS return lable. We dismantled the bike (would have preferred not to have had to do that!) and got it all back in the box, took it to the UPS drop-off, and about 2 weeks later we received our refund. The return process could not have been easier.

A wonderful bicycle! Set-up was straight forward and easy. Little adjustment needed for the derailer or brakes. Many hours of enjoyment already spent on the bike. A great family edition. Lots of fun to ride. The ride is very smooth and the gear shift is very precise.

I am an avid bike rider. I ride many miles on my road bike and my hybrid so I was a little apprehensive about a less expensive tandem bike. I must say it has lived up to my expectations. It was easy to assemble and performs quite well. The shifting is a little rough, but acceptable, especially in this price range.

The ride is great with large, comfortable tires. It is a nice cruiser and will go way down in gear ratio for very easy peddling on those steep hills. My wife and I are really enjoying it.
