Monark created the 874 E with safety and quality in mind, outfitting with a softer design than other fitness bikes and a stabler, better enforced frame. The weight basket, meanwhile, is a patented self-regulating braking system that never needs calibration. To adjust the resistance, the user merely adds weights to the weight basket, with 1 kg, 0.5 kg, and 0.1 kg sizes and a workload range of 1 kg to 12 kg. Perhaps most importantly, the bike offers first-class instrumentation to measure your heart rate and other details, with an electronic meter displaying pedal revolutions per minute, heart rate, time, speed, distance, calories burned, and cycle power.
