too much money for what u get. in print it looks like a good piece of equiptment to have, but it only last at full charge for less than 12 minutes. i have already send it to the trash can where it belongs.

This product literally is one of the best on the market.... The light last long enough on batteries to make any and all emergency repairs needed while on the road. And the fast recharges amazing to say the least. Buy one, you wont be dissatisfied.

DO NOT waste your time or money on this product. Look at the Thor Cyclops 15 million candlepower light currently (July 2009) listed as on sale for $20 more than this product if free super-saver shipping is accepted.
Received this product and returned it the next day. The photo on Amazon matches the photo on the box. The light inside is not the same one. It has a cheap two-position slide switch on the handle (that doesn't even click in place well) in place of the two switches on the left side seen in the photo. It has a single adjustment knob on each side instead of the two shown. The plastic housing is a much softer plastic than my old one. And, the light, even after a 12 hr charge, is nowhere close to as bright as the old one. It does not have the fastened-on rear cover for the battery. It does not have a lead-acid battery in there--it's some type of rechargeable smaller battery that is several pounds lighter than the lead acid battery in my old Thor 10X that I was replacing. Now, by old one was a different brand, but the photo displayed is identical to that one I have owned for over 5 years. I mistakenly ordered two and both were identical, so it wasn't a case of a sneaky buyer returning a different item.
On the plus side, Northern Tool was graciously willing to accept responsibility for the difference and issued a postage paid return label for both.

Okay. So you're driving down the road at night and some yahoo decides that you are not going fast enough for him. He then turns on his brights. This is where the average person would wave him around.
But not us flashaholics!
You simply turn the 10 million candles toward the back window of your car and pull the trigger. Almost immediately you will notice a transformation in the rear driver behavior as he decides that maybe he was riding a bit to close to you.
