I wanted a general exercise mat for some p90x, yoga, and some stretching and after examining my girlfriend's mat purchased at a local sports store or thereabouts, I went perusing Amazon.com to see what was out there. For the same price, I got a mat 50% thicker than hers for a few dollars less. When this mat arrived, the quality looked just as good and thickness was as advertised. I have used it briefly and it performs as intended... like an exercise mat. Not really sure what other reviews might complain about, as compared to similar products.

Excellent yoga mat with a beautiful array of colors. I purchased this mat for studio practice and felt nervous the entire time. It is thicker and longer but because it is slippery it is pretty much useless to me. I don't plan on purchasing ToeSox or grippy gloves but I would need to if I continued to use this mat.

Time to splurge on a Manduka.

I suppose for the price I shouldn't have expected a high quality product. It was just okay. The product description says 'extra thick deluxe' and it is definitely not that. It is very thin and it has an unusual smell. I suppose its better than the hard floor but definitely was a little disappointed

This mat was perfect. It's nice and long. I have a gym set up in my garage and this is thick enough that I can do crunches on it.
