Quiver : What is it?
| Quivers are compact containers that hold arrows, darts, and crossbow bolts. They allow the archer to make numerous successive shots because they make archery weapons readily accessible. Quivers are usually attached to the bows for easy access. However newer models can now be slung around the archer's hips or across the body. This new design does not affect the weight of the bows, thus aiding in shooting performance and accuracy. |

Design. If you are new to hunting, try quivers that you can attach to your hip or carry on your back. The weight of quivers that attach directly to bows can greatly affect the torque on your bow and prevent you from making accurate shots. Waterproofing. Choose a quiver with a lid that protects arrows from getting wet. Remember that water can dissolve the glue that attaches the fletchings to the arrows. Swivel belt loop. Choose a quiver with a swivel belt loop that make it easy for the archer to put it either at the left or the right side of his or her body. These quivers can be used by both right-handed and left-handed archers.
