Saise : What is it?
| Sais (pronounced “sighs”) are martial arts weapons used for slashing, stabbing, punching, throwing, and blocking. Before they evolved as weapons, sais were used as agricultural tools for planting. Sais look like tridents with one central blade and two prongs on either side that protect the wrists. The central blade can be made of steel, chrome, or aluminum. Sais are considered harmful weapons that can cause injury, so they should not be aimed or thrown at anyone. |
