A volleyball net is the high net located in the middle of a volleyball court that separates the two teams. The volleyball is passed over it to get from one side to another. A volleyball net is usually made of polyethylene or nylon netting with cables supporting the top and bottom edges. The net used in official games measures three feet and four inches high and 32 feet long, and weighs 20 pounds.
