Guide to Water Bottles

Kinds of Water Bottles include the following:

Disposable

Disposable water bottles come in clear, soft plastic bottles usually made of polyethylene terephtalate (PET).
They are purchased in groceries, stores, and markets for individual consumption and retail sale.
They are not meant to be reused because the thin plastic material wears down and gets contaminated easily.
They can contain spring, mineral, well, distilled, purified, municipal, or carbonated water.
They are sealed with simple twist caps for opening and closing.

Reusable

Reusable water bottles are made of thicker plastic materials.
They are sold empty for use as beverage containers.
They are washed and refilled for reuse.
They come in different colors, shapes, and sizes.
They come with drinking systems such as straws, squeeze tubes, and sippers.

Label: Choose a disposable water bottle with a safety label that reflects the bottle's contents. It should be approved by government standards.
    
Safety: Disposable water bottles are not meant to be refilled and reused because they can easily catch germs even if they are cleaned. It is best to recycle them after use.  Reusable water bottles should be cleaned properly and dried thoroughly before refilling to be assured of their cleanliness.
